Players will receive a t-shirt at tryouts to wear for the tryout to separate by teams.
We are a program that cuts during tryouts. All players tryout each season, even players previously a part of the program, it’s our way of keeping our program competitive.
There are 2 practices a week and a minimum of 4 weekend tournaments during the season.
Rosters will have 8 players per roster, it is important that players make both practices and tournaments a priority. After this past winter season, we will no longer allow players to attend just one game of a tournament, you either play the whole tournament or we find someone else to fill your spot. We had way too many players picking which game they wanted to attend and leaving the team short for another game. We do smaller rosters so kids are getting max playing time compared to other programs where you see over 10 on a roster. It needs to be a priority.
At the moment, we have 6th grade practices scheduled for: 6:00-7:30 PM on Sundays and 6:00-7:30 PM on Thursdays at Redeemer Church gymnasium. This is subject to change, although unlikely.
Season Fee is $550
New Uniform Fee is $130
Spring/Summer Season will run from first week of May thru end of July. We will be taking off a couple days for the 4th of July holiday.
Tryouts and practices are held at Redeemer Church Gym, 1006 Gillick St, Park Ridge, IL 60068 (we are currently looking to add another local gym space as well).
We encourage parents to ask questions in advance of tryouts. If a player is offered a spot, and the parents don't accept the spot, the family must pay a tryout fee of $50.00, before the player, or sibling of that player, will be considered for a future roster.
No refunds will be given for missed tryouts.
